Question by Cortney R: Toro lawn mower model 26622 self propelled won’t start?
Okay, my uncle gave us a Toro lawn mower, its an OVH engine and it won’t start. We are getting spark with the spark plug, We cleaned out the carb, best we could. Fresh gasoline…it refuses to start. We have tried putting gas in the spark plug hole. We have plenty of compression, no problems there. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

when you say you have put gas in sparkplug hole, does it at least fire then? if it does then you have not cleaned the carb sufficiently. If it does not, then that sounds like weak spark, and could mean bad plug, wire or ignition module
