Question by Charles D: 17.5 MTD Lawn Mower, Blows keeps blowing fuse.?
HELP !!….On the selonoid connecting hot wires…The hot wire from the battrery is connected to which side of the two selonoid terminals. (Sitting on the mower looking down)..the left side wire runs to the battery and the right to the fuse and other. Also the left side selonoid frame mount bolt has the gound wire connected. Also what size fuse is for the Mower..I have a 20 amp in now?

Have you tried putting in a new solenoid? The new one should have connection schematic, maybe you can go to MTD on line and look up scematics for wiring or get tech support. There are so many different mowers out there. Also just fyi, check and make sure all grounds are clean and tight and that there are no frayed or broken wires that could be shorting out against a ground. Also check your ignition cyliner.
