I dont know about the Poulan’s, but i would only buy a mower with a Briggs and Stratton engine.

my dad has one…it drives just like a car. it even has a nifty holder for his beers. although i can’t fathom paying that much for a riding mower
They are made by Huzqvarna in Beatrice Neb . for Poulan . Not a bad mower forthe price !
Worked in a lawn mower repair shop. Do yourself a favor and buy a Toro self propelled. Love my mower. Stay away from sears totally. I’ve bought 2 riding tractors from sears, neither one ever worked right. So spend just alittle more and you will have it for years to come. Good Luck!
They are made by ayp (owned by electrolux, which owns husqvarna) ayp makes husq, poulan/weedeater and sears mowers…. many other brands as well. These mowers are good quality for the money.
