Question by BIG D: How do I hotwire a MTD GT1846 Lawn mower ??
Its not origional enginit started had it started a year ago but now it wont start and I have a key but it still wont start ive replaced the battery.

It is not always good to hot wire equipment. There are safety switches you do not want to bypass, in fact that may be a good reason why it won’t start if the engine turns over or not or even. If you replaced the engine make sure all the wiring is connected, and make sure the safety switches are working, blade,clutch,seat shifter all have safety switches and make sure every thing is in the correct position in order to start engine..
As the previous guy said, don’t hotwire it, it’s too dangerous.
Take it to a service shop to be checked and serviced
